Kristen Beddard has worked in marketing communications for the past ten years in both New York City and Paris in the food, agriculture and financial sectors with clients like Kraft, Vanguard, American Express and Lady Moon Farms. In 2012, she founded The Kale Project, a blog and successful initiative that reintroduced kale to France. She is the author of Bonjour Kale: A Memoir of Paris, Love and Recipes, Savez-vous manger les choux, a contributor to We Love Kale, and is currently working on a new book Roots, Shoots, and Stalks about food waste and cooking with the entire vegetable.  Now living in the New York City area with her husband and daughter, Kristen wants to deepen the connection between parent and kids & real food.
